Not real goldfish, of course, but little goldfish teabags swimming in your cup. If you can get around thinking about what fish do in the water . . . .

Yes, a little of both I think.
I looked at these, and thought it would be cool to have them as little mobiles of goldfish. But since they would look better without the tea still in them, I said to Word, “So, after you drink the tea, you could gut them to get the wet tea out, and then…”
She wasn’t so keen on hearing the rest of my idea after that, but it involved gold spraypaint and string.
Have you seen the book Anti-Craft? Gutting the little goldfish reminded me of that. I did get a good image of a skull that I knitted into a sweater for Z from that book, but I hesitated at creating a corset out of duct tape.
