Project Icarus (reference from InstaPundit)
Once only the realm of science fiction with fine examples offered by Heinlein, Bradbury, Herbert and many others, inter-stellar travel is not only part of a feasibility study by the British Interplanetary Society, it has recently been added to the research agenda of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
“Why do we pay this obsessive attention to backing up a document, which we can reproduce, when we pay no attention to backing up our civilization?” – Andreas Tziolas, Project Leader, Project Icarus

Pebbles Flintstone – born February 23, 10,000 BC
After a normal childhood in Bedrock, Pebbles went on to become an advertising executive in Hollyrock. She married long-time sweetheart, Bam-Bam, and they had two children.

Not the roses, because there were no roses. There were lots of orchids, ponderosa lemons, limes, cacti (not my favorites), and ferns (my favorites.) The best show was in the orchid room at the Rockefeller Greenhouse, a lovely green-smelling place in Cleveland in February.

At Value World – thanks to a good friend, I have discovered the amazing world of thrift store shopping. I have scored a leather designer purse for twenty-five cents and a cashmere sweater (new with tags) for $15.00.
Today my “find” was these shoes for $1.50. I can’t walk in them, but they look soooooo good!

I like this store because they arrange all of the clothing in rainbows – kind of difficult to see from these small photos, but true.
