Gunsmoke and Knitting 
The scary history of the earth is one planetary extinction after another again and again and again and again. I laugh at the hubris of man that thinks global warming is ‘THE END’. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
I remember when I got evolution and then it was kind of reinforced watching and learning that the things we saw evolved, all died out due to a planetary wide catastrophes over which nobody had any control.
The sky is falling!!!
