Oh, No!

November 12, 2020

It’s not just the globe; it is the whole universe!

Astronomers at Ohio State University have taken the mean temperature of cosmic gas at different distances and ages, and found that it’s roughly 10 times hotter today than it was 10 billion years ago.

Here’s the link at New Atlas, but I am sure it is (fill-in-the-blank’s) fault.

  1. Is that the same as THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY? Stupid minds want to know since there is, apparently, a distinction between the two. Plus the gas heats up from friction as it passes through the ether and phologiston particle/waves. Everybody knows that.

  2. Yes, yes, it is. And those of us here at The Fancypants University know ALL about the ether!
