What am I drinking?

There was not a full moon (I checked) and I do not know how the planets were aligned, but this was a challenging week on many fronts.

Thanks to a good friend, last night I was drinking an enormous Manhattan, some good wine, and sharing a sumptuous meal featuring boneless pork ribs with onions, garlic, fresh rosemary and heavy cream.  This is a dish I will add to my list of treasures.  I did not take a picture, but I will next time.

Of course, we could have been eating baloney sandwiches and beer.  It was the conversation with someone I trust that made all the difference.
