Another challenge for Mike Rowe? Reported on the Live Science website, scientists are contending that the right whales in the Bay of Fundy are stressed by the noise from freighters and it is interfering with their mating behavior.
They way the researchers determine that freighter noise is a problem is by sampling the stress hormone levels in the whales’ poop. I like the Bay of Fundy, gotta love the whales, but still this is right up there with jobs I don’t want. And, besides, how would one go about it?
