About

180px-Bonney,_Anne_(1697-1720)Pirate. Potter. Shooter. Knitter.

Gunsmoke and knitting – that about says it all.  For me it takes place in a corner of the Connecticut Western Reserve. And cooking, too.  There will be posts about cooking.

My apologies for taking so long to get here. What a unique blog!!! You have always been so kind to me with your visits and I hope to come around your place more often. Cooking is good and so is gunsmoke. Not so sure how I feel about knitting, but happy to see others enjoy. My mom talks about trying to teach me to knit as a child (no memory of it myself) and I never took to it. She knits to this day as do some of my good friends. Guess I don’t have the knitting gene. But you decidedly do. What do you like to knit? What do you like about it?

Thanks for your kind words, Liz. Don’t worry about the knitting gene. My Aunt Margie tried in vain to teach me many times over. Instead of finding it relaxing, I found myself gritting my teeth over it and just gave it up for a number of years. Then I found socks . . . and mittens. I love knitting the “smalls” and I can use unusual and more expensive yarns without a great investment of cash. Now I hate to sit around without having some yarn in my hands. Best wishes.
