Happy Doughnut Day!

“Doughnuts would not be popular in America today if not for the efforts of the Salvation Army and the nation’s entry into the First World War.”

Since 1938, National Donut Day has been celebrated on the first Friday of June to commemorate those who served donuts to U.S. soldiers during WWI.
