Start growing

August 30, 2023

Last year participants at the National Beard and Moustache Championship set a Guinness World Record for the longest recorded beard chain. This year they are going to try to best that record.

This year the event will be held November 2 – 4 in Daytona Beach.

Stop shaving – start growing.

Happy Frozen Custard Day

August 8, 2023

“Frozen custard is a sweet treat popular throughout the Midwest. It’s similar to ice cream, but in addition to the cream and the sugar, egg you is added to the concoction to create a creamier, richer texture and flavor. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration states that for a frozen dessert to be considered “frozen custard,” it must contain 1.4 percent egg yolk solids by weights of the final product.” – from Enerquip Thermal Solutions

There are many different types of frozen custard from many different companies. My favorite was always the frozen custard served at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland. Gone but not forgotten

Recently I found Rita’s Ices and Custard in Pittsburgh and it is my new favorite.

And it is coming soon to a location nearer to me. I cannot wait!
